KIIT FEST is committed towards a competitive and transparent ecosystem for the innovative minds and thinkers across the nation.
Innovation challenge participants are encouraged to put on their young minds and provide suitable solutions for the existing problem across six themes. All the teams will be evaluated on their performance in two phases depending upon their proposed solution.
KIIT university is inviting all student innovators, thinkers and makers of the country,to join this event, who have a dream to create something new and aspire to make a difference!

Solo/Group Event..


The participating team should provide an idea or a smart solution to any problem related to the themes mentioned above. The solution should be highly scale-able and feasible. Each team needs to submit their ideas along with a presentation report of the same.
Coders, developers and designers will have a prodigious platform to use their out-of-the-box idea on these above mentioned themes using Embedded Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, IoT, AR/VR, Blockchain, Data Analytics or any other technology. They have to design the solution for the problem in a 21-hr hackathon which will be held during the 3 days of KIIT FEST.

1.The Identity card is mandatory. 
2. Each Participant is required to take all appropriate safety measures including obtaining appropriate insurance coverage (if necessary) when designing and developing the prototype and conducting the prototype trials.
3.The participants are answerable to the organizer if and when the need arises.
4. KIIT shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or liability arising due to the participation in the contest.
5. The organizers will neither engage in nor will be held responsible for managing internal team disputes. Any and all disputes or disagreements between or among team participants must be resolved by said participants themselves, acting reasonably.
6.Failure to submit either the abstract or commercialization plan will lead to the disqualification of the entire team.
7.Participants shall not knowingly use software that is obtained or retained either illegally or unethically includes using TeamViewer or similar software. Participants will be disqualified if they found using it.
8.In case of emergency or medical assistance , participants are requested to report to the organizers.
9.Judges decisions are final and are not subject to review.
10.The organizer have all the rights to alter the rules and regulation if and when needed.

The team would be judged on the basis of the following parameters:
1.The participants can submit their innovation through an individual or a team with a maximum of 5 members.
2.The Contest is open for all year students from all fields .
3.Innovations will be shortlisted by an internal Jury based on the synopses.
4.The challenge does not restrict the number of entries coming from one institute.
5.Since the innovation challenge is a team event,the team is expected to develop a working prototype of its proposed solution within the allotted time..
